ACON is a New South Wales based health promotion organisation specialising in HIV prevention, HIV support and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) health. Established in 1985, we’re here to end HIV transmission among gay and homosexually active men, and promote the lifelong health of LGBTI people and people with HIV. Our head office is in Sydney, we have offices in key regional locations and we provide services throughout NSW.
Gamarada Universal Indigenous Resources Pty Ltd (GUIR) is a privately owned ASIC registered business providing Aboriginal Mental Health and Wellbeing Program consulting services to the public, private and community, education, justice and health sectors. The business has been registered since September 2011 and commenced trading in financial year 2013. The current management has operated in consulting roles in the health, education and justice sectors over the past 18 years.
Positive Life NSW is a non-profit community-based organisation. We work to promote a positive image of people living with and affected by HIV with the aim of eliminating prejudice, isolation, stigma and discrimination. We provide information and targeted referrals, and advocate to change systems and practices that discriminate against people with HIV, our friends, family and carers in NSW. We were incorporated on 21 July 1989 as People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) NSW and changed our name to Positive Life NSW on 15 February 2008.
