TAILGATE & FOOTBALL GAME: University of Hawai'i vs. University of Southern California, 1:00 - 8:30 PM
|
|
Touchdown in Hawai‘i! You can be a Warrior for a night as you and 40,000 of your Warrior friends open up the University of Hawai‘i football season against the Trojans of Southern California. Begin in the parking lot of Aloha Stadium for a good-times tailgate party full of barbecue, burgers and soft beverages. Once inside the stadium, the party continues as we sit together to cheer on our favorite team, the whole thing televised on ESPN. We return you to Waikīkī in your air-conditioned motorcoach, pumped up for the rest of the week.
Includes round-trip transportation and tailgate barbecue.

‘AWA CEREMONY - TRADITIONAL WELCOME, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Keaīwa Heiau State Park

Leaders from each nation will participate in ‘awa ceremony, although all delegates to HOSW are welcomed to attend. Sign up for round-trip transportation.

HOSW INTERNATIONAL INDIGENOUS CULTURE, ARTS AND HEALING FESTIVAL, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM Waimea Valley Park
|
|
HOSW International Indigenous Culture Arts, & Healing Festival will feature Crafts, Food, Health screenings and Cultural demonstrations from Hawai'i and participating countries worldwide. Powwow will be held in the upper meadow.
Activities described here are included for HOSW registrants, but you must sign up for them so we can plan the transportation. Valley Park admission will be in effect for the general public.

OPENING CEREMONIES, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Kualoa Park
E Ala E (sunrise chant), Peace Pipe Ceremony, Smudging; Drum Ceremony & Arrival of the Canoes, Procession of Delegations; Pā‘ina –Lunch; Cultural exchange
|
|
Participating delegations will arrive on canoes and be welcomed to Hawai'i with traditional ceremonial greetings and cultural exchanges followed by a Pā‘ina –Lunch.
This includes round-trip transportation and is included for all HOSW registrants at no additional charge, but you must sign up so food and transportation can be planned.
